Welcome to the Fallbrook Newcomers Club!  Whether new to the city or a longtime resident, we welcome you to join us in friendship and fun.

FALLBROOK NEWCOMERS- In 1966, Mary Wannebo Lindskog and her husband Vernon found their way to Fallbrook, where Mary started Welcome Wagon to welcome and orientate others like herself new to the area. A few years later, it was "Fallbrook Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club” and then simply, Fallbrook Newcomers Club.

The first meeting, held in her home, had seven ladies in attendance, with their first order of business "open a bank account and plan a picnic." Many activities and much fellowship followed that first picnic,
and much has changed, but her vision to welcome and encourage friendship and connection remains
the club's cornerstone.

Today Fallbrook Newcomers Club welcomes both men and women and is an organization devoted to
promoting friendship and social interaction. Members enjoy learning about the community and local resources, having fun, and making connections.

We are a diverse group from all geographic areas, careers, interests, talents, and ethnic backgrounds
and our activities continually evolve to represent our members' interests. FNC has several annual events and 18 monthly activities, from a monthly social meeting with informative speakers, social gatherings, games, day trips, outings, book clubs, and so much more. There is truly something for everyone.

On the second Thursday of each month, we have a Social Meeting (according to the CDC guidelines),
which includes coffee, light refreshments, and a speaker presentation.

Our annual membership is $35 and includes a monthly newsletter with a calendar of all activities and a Welcome team to help you “navigate” your way and get started in the club.  The newsletter includes
many opportunities to connect and activities to enjoy each month. You’ll soon find yourself getting to
know others with shared interests and begin establishing the friendships that are the foundation of FNC.
