The Heritage Center offers a comprehensive look at Fallbrook's past. Join us on a docent-led tour of four impressive venues: The Main Museum, the Pittenger House, the Gem and Mineral Exhibit, and "The Barn" Interpretive Center. Check out the model train set in a historic Fallbrook and the restored farmhouse once owned by a Civil War hero who inspired "The Great Locomotive Chase" movie. Don't miss the glistening gems gathered from two private collections, numerous artifacts of Fallbrook's agriculture heritage, a vintage Volunteer Fire Engine, and so much more! Afterwards, optional lunch at the Coal Bunker. Museum admission is free.
