An ancient Chinese Game of four (4) players or more that uses 144 tiles that includes three (3) suits, honor tiles, wind indicator, dice and playing racks. For the new player, it takes time to learn the game and with all of its intricate moves, strategies, point system and betting stick uses. A fun and interesting game. Plan on at least 4 hours for game time. Classes will be held from time to time to train the new player.

Monthly Board meeting

Friendly Poker game for both men and women. Have a fun evening starting at 5:30 for socializing and then Poker 6-9pm. The buy-in is $20 and an additional $5 for the host to supply munchies; bring your own beverage. Betting and buy-in is kept modest to promote enjoyment of the game and the fellowship of all. The game stops 9:00pm sharp.

Located in beautiful old town downtown Vista. Join us for a delightful lunch at the infamous Yellow Deli owned and operated by The Twelve Tribes. Fresh organic and lots homemade goodies. After lunch, go around corner to visit their little store.

On Friday May 10th we will visit Iron Sights Range (Indoor) at 618 Airport Road, Oceanside, CA 92058. (Just off Hwy. 76). Meet at 9:30 AM to Carpool/Caravan from Daniels Market (corner of Hwy 76 and Mission Rd.). I will leave Daniels parking lot by 9:40 in order to arrive at the range around 10:00 AM. Those who choose to drive separately; we will see you there. The Range opens at 10:00 AM.

We enjoy Spring at Dixon Lake Recreational Area in Escondido, a popular fishing/camping park. We
will simply hike along the Lakeshore, out to the dam and back. A few rocks to climb over/around at the start but overall an easy hike. Bring a lunch to picnic and enjoy the views.

Bunco is an easy-to-learn, light-hearted dice game. The nature of the game makes it a perfect opportunity to meet and get to know others while having fun playing. Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun and friendship. Cost is $4

For May‘s Cook Along we will be participating in an "Afternoon Tea". We will be preparing and sharing several finger sandwiches, scones, Texas sheet cake and a selection of loose leaf teas.

Seafood Extravaganza: Starting with smoked salmon appetizer with dill sauce and capers. Entree is cippino with jumbo shrimp, scallops and mussels (optional), in a zippy tomato sauce with garlic bread and yummy fruit snow cones for dessert. There will be complimentary sangria. bring additional beverage of choice. This is going to be awesome.

Shanghai Rummy is a fun card game that allows for good opportunities to socialize and meet fellow members from the club. No previous experience is needed as it is a very easy card game to learn. All card sharks are welcome to come and enjoy a fun afternoon of fellowship. Players need to bring $2.00 for the host to help pay for the light refreshments that are provided.

Hand and Foot is a popular and simple variation of a rummy type game like Canasta in which each player is dealt two sets of cards – the Hand, which is played first, and the Foot which is played after the Hand has been played. The game is easy to learn and fun to play. Max 24 players. Bring a appetizer or dessert to share BYOB.

It’s easy to see how this lunchtime potluck became one our most popular activities. What’s better than sharing a favorite dish with new friends. Come and enjoy a light lunch with us. Please bring a salad or dessert.

Come join us on Thurs, May 23 from 2-5pm for a paint and sip workshop in the backyard of local Fallbrook artist, Karen Trapane. Karen will teach us different techniques to practice and inspire our unique art. No experience is necessary. $28 cost covers instruction, all supplies including finished 9x12 unique painting on high quality watercolor paper, and refreshments. 20 max. We will visit the Temecula Olive Oil Ranch including a tour of the olive orchard and a presentation by owners Nancy or Tom describing how olive oil is produced. We will visit the production facility to see how olives are processed from orchard to bottle. Next we will belly up to the olive oil tasting bar to taste more than twenty premium, and best olive oils in California, including which oils pair best with what foods. Our tour and tasting will be followed by lunch. Please rsvp if you will be joining us for lunch. This is a great opportunity to make new friends.

"Wine and Dine" is an evening wine and hors d‘oeuvres party where each couple brings a hors d‘ oeuvres, or dessert and what they would like to drink. This event is held at a member‘s home and features good fun, and meeting new people.

Arrange to carpool or drive on your own. We will all meet up at the water feature located in front of the Oceanside Library no later than 5:30 so we can stroll together as we munch our way thru all of the food trucks, remember calories count if you keep walking!
